Job Title: Devops Engineer with Python Development

Location: Charlotte, NC remote till Covid Position

Type: Long Term Contract

Implements cloud technology solutions requested by business units.
Ability to develop, test, integrate and execute with Unix shell scripts, Python, and Groovy code
Comprehensive knowledge of different automation tools to develop CICD pipelines on Cloud.
Engineers technology solutions supporting application environments.
Proactively look for ways to enhance the functionality, reliability and operation of the pipeline.
Documents and publishes standards for Data Ops.
Reviews metrics for quality control.

Job Qualifications –

Hands on development experience with Python
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant field of study preferred.
Highly proficient with engineering solutions focused on Cloud offerings. AWS experience preferred.
Familiarity with Container platforms, Docker and Kubernetes experience preferred.
Working knowledge with AWS Infrastructure as code, either Cloud Formation or Terraform preferred
Knowledge of DevOps, Process Architecture, and various CI/CD tooling including test automation, code quality, security scanning, build tools, package managers such as Helm, and release orchestration tools.
CI/CD tooling experience - GitLab, Jenkins.
